Who am I? I am an Estonian too, my name is Jüri Ülesoo. artist and proofs On the photo you see me with my dog Josper. I''m not really the artist but I like art. Some years ago I made some oil paintings but not now. I''ll try to be the curator for some Estonian artists on the Internet and here you see my first step - Navitrolla''s artist Gallery (thanks to Lile Elam and Art on the Net). The problem is that few Estonian artists have computers, good communication connection proofs and time to learn and use it. I want to show their works to the whole world and the Internet is the best artist tool for it. Until the artist has his (her) own Internet connection and e:mail address I will be mediator for him. So, you can e:mail your opinions to me and I will give them to the artists. During the "day" I work as a Marketing Manager in the Estonian, proofs Latvian and Lithuanian area for Finnish artist and proofs concern VALMET (for Valmet Automation - producer of process automation systems). I am a member of Lions Clubs International.
Our artist studio grew out of Maurel Press originated in 1955 by artists Sheila and Ary Marbain. It opened as a custom screen printing shop specializing in printing with contemporary artists. Sheila had studied art at Black Mountain College in proofs North Carolina with Joseph Albers, Ilya Bolotowsky artist and William deKooning from 1948 through 1950. Ary had worked and exhibited as a painter in France for many years. After the sudden death of Ary Marbain in 1963, the studio was closed for a year. Sheila then decided to modernize the workshop and introduce screen photography along with a new vacuume printing table. Our studio reopened on 23rd Street in Manhattan. With an assistant, proofs Sheila plunged into printing three artist dimensional objects. A plexiglass airship for Lichtenstein, an Oldenburg proofs and artist soft drum set, a set of dominoes with Fahlstrom, and a large fabric banner with Marisol were some of the editions proofs.
